The Haunted Zone: A Horror Anthology by Women Military Veterans

Our campaign for THE HAUNTED ZONE was a success!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped support us by pledging, sharing through social media, and helping to spread the word about this project. We couldn’t have successed without you! We’re so excited to move into the next stage of development and publication of this anthology.

So, what now? Well, if you follow the campaign or supported it, you know from our updates that we have a production management schedule that takes us to fulfillment in March 2024. Public release will follow after we’ve completed fulfillment to those who supported the Kickstarter.

Fulfillment tracking and shipping will be handled by using BackerKit. What does that offer? If you’ve supported the campaign and maybe didn’t order everything you wanted or missed seeing every add-on, there’s still time. So continue to follow and we’ll update you as we move forward. Did you know?

According to US Dept of Labor Statistics, in order to meet one woman veteran, you may have to meet 69 women.

How many women do you have to meet to find ONE who is a veteran AND a horror writer? It’s many times that labor statistic. We truly are The Few of the Few.

We’d hazard to guess we’re one of the smallest segments of the horror writing community, if not the smallest. That’s why this project is so important. We had to highlight and share their contributions to the genre.
